Hebrew: דרכינו (Our Path). Circle dance by Gadi Bitton, 2002.
The song was composed by Yizhar Ashdot.
The lyrics were written by Yankele Rotblit in 1986, shortly after his wife Arna contracted ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). It is an optimistic song of hope for the future. However, Rotblit is on record as saying that at the time he wrote the song, they knew nothing about what was wrong or what was coming.
Arna lived for 13 years after her diagnosis, an unusually long time, cared for until the last day by Rotblit and by her daughter from a previous marriage, Alma Zohar.
