Hebrew: חי (Alive). Circle dance by Shlomo Maman, 1983 (but see below). The Australian Database also records versions by Vicki Cohen, by David Swissa, by Avi Eliram, and kids' versions by Raya Spivak and by Teme Kernerman.
Maman taught Chai at Hora Shalom 1983. It was quite popular there and thereafter, partially due to the song (which won second place in the 1983 Eurovision Song Contest).
At some later point, probably 2025, Maman changed many of the pieces of the dance while leaving the basic structure. That new version is the one currently danced in Israel and all available videos display it; videos of the original haven't been found.
The original dance's pages in the Hora Shalom 1983 syllabus are here, with contemporaneous annotations by Larry Denenberg. In counts 5 and 6 of Pattern II, as you take two steps facing outside the circle, you aren't interacting with anyone else. In his teaching, Maman pointed out that at this point the words of the song are "אני) מתפלל)", that is, "(I) pray"; the steps are appropriate since you should pray in solitude. This nicety has been completely lost in the new version.
Maman has been asked why he made the change, but as of this writing has not responded.
