Hebrew: את לי פריז (You are Paris to Me). Circle dance by Michael Barzelai, 2024.
The song we dance to is by Shai Hamber and is named "Ellie, At Li Pariz" (that is, "Ellie, You are Paris to Me").
Most of the melody and all of the Hebrew lyrics were written by Hamber. The instrumental refrain, however, is taken from the song "L'Été Indien" (Indian Summer) by Joe Dassin, an American-French singer-songwriter. "L'Été Indien" is itself a cover of the true original, the song "Africa" written jointly by the Italian band Albatros: Salvatore ("Toto") Cutugno, Vito Pallavicini, Pasquale Losito, and Sam Ward, in 1975.
Toto Cutugno also wrote the song "Lasciatemi Cantare" which was covered in Hebrew; that version is used for the dance Ani Chozer HaBayta.
Note that the city name in Hebrew is always pronounced "pareez", so the title as commonly spelled in English is an illogical mishmash.
